These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the MyCals mobile application.

By using MyCals, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About MyCals

MyCals is a nutrition and wellness tracking app that helps users log meals, calories, macros, water intake, weight progress, saved meals, and personal goals.

Some features may require a paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MyCals.

By using the app, you confirm that you are legally allowed to use the service and agree to these Terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Health and Nutrition Disclaimer

MyCals is provided for informational and tracking purposes only.

MyCals does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional nutrition advice.

Calorie goals, macro goals, water goals, meal estimates, image recognition results, barcode results, and nutrition information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or estimated.

You should not rely on MyCals as a substitute for medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making major changes to your diet, exercise, weight, or health routine.

5. Food and Nutrition Data

MyCals may use nutrition databases, barcode data, user-entered information, image recognition, or third-party services to estimate nutrition values.

You are responsible for reviewing and confirming meal entries before saving or relying on them.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of nutrition information.

6. Image Meal Logging

Image meal logging may allow you to capture or upload food images to estimate food items, ingredients, portions, and nutrition values.

This feature may use external services to process images and generate results.

Image meal logging results are estimates only and may be inaccurate.

7. Subscriptions

MyCals Premium may unlock paid features, including image meal logging.

Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple’s payment terms and subscription rules.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, according to Apple’s policies.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

We do not directly process payments or store full payment card information.

8. Free and Paid Features

MyCals may offer both free and paid features.

We may add, remove, or change features over time.

Some features that are free during testing or early versions may become paid features later.

9. Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple.

If you want to request a refund, you must follow Apple’s refund process.

You may enter or upload content such as meals, ingredients, images, profile information, goals, and logs.

You remain responsible for the content you provide.

By using the app, you give MyCals permission to process this content only as needed to provide app functionality.

Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, billing, or legitimate business purposes.

We try to keep MyCals available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCals and its owner/developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to inaccurate nutrition information, health decisions, lost data, subscription issues, or service interruptions.

MyCals is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no warranties that the app will meet your expectations, be accurate, be uninterrupted, or be free from errors.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we update the Terms, we will change the “Last updated” date.

Continued use of MyCals after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
